Schrader Racing headquarters is located in Concord, North Carolina, where it has been since 2004. The team is known for representing their sponsors well and relating to their fans. Schrader’s two most prominent team members are crew chief Donnie Richeson and driver Tom Hessert. Together they share a love of racing and strive for success.
Ken Schrader, who has been called the consummate racecar driver, has competed and reached success in many levels of racing, including 27 years as a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver. From USAC, ARCA, and just about every series within NASCAR and on dirt, Schrader holds many records and is praised for his accomplishments throughout the racing world. In addition to being a driver, Schrader is a TV commentator, a dirt track owner, and a race team owner. He has fielded cars in NASCAR, ARCA, and several dirt series.
Tom Hessert has been racing since high school and has been an avid racing fan his whole life. Racing in both USAC and ARCA series since 2004, Tom has an impressive placing history and is working his way to the top. In 2011, Hessert competed for the ARCA championship in the #52 Federated Auto Parts car, finishing sixth in the points standings. Tom will continue to drive the #52 Federated Auto Parts car and anticipates a very successful career with Ken Schrader Racing.
